Meet the Illustrator Behind Elephant Trunk

Hi, I’m Lisa, an illustrator based in West Lothian, Scotland. I’m the creative mind behind Elephant Trunk, where I design hand-drawn stationery, memory keeping book pages, keepsakes, and distinctive gifts.

Why I Create

For me, illustration is more than art — it’s a way to capture moments and turn them into stories you can hold on to. I believe that stationery can be both practical and deeply personal: a way of preserving memories, sparking creativity, and celebrating self-expression.

Whether you’re journaling, filling a memory book, or gifting someone special, each piece I design is made to feel joyful, thoughtful, and lasting.

A Background Rooted in Care

Alongside my work as an illustrator, I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support. That background shapes the way I design: blending creativity with wellbeing, and making pieces that encourage reflection, expression, and connection.
